Niecy Nash and her husband of 8 years, Jay Tucker, have officially called it quits and we are in shambles. The “Claws” star made the heartbreaking announcement on her Instagram yesterday.

“Our truth is that in this season of our lives, we are better friends than partners in marriage. Our union was such a gorgeous ride. And as we go our separate ways now, we feel fortunate for the love we share — present tense. Thank you all out there for your support of us as a couple over the last eight years. We are grateful,” Niecy shared with her fans.

Although the reason for the split has not been confirmed, sources close to The Daily Mail report that Niecy’s graphic scenes in Claws and not spending enough time ultimately sent the couple to splitsville.
