It looks like Nicki Minaj is on a rampage and no male rapper is safe! After getting into a heated argument with Joe Budden on Queen Radio about their past beef, Nicki decided to visit Joe on his podcast to set a few things straight—including her disdain for Rick Ross‘ 2017 track entitled “Apple of My Eye” which she basically ate for lunch.
Nicki explained that after her, Ross and other musicians met with Barack Obama in 2016, Ross texted her then-boyfriend Meek Mill to ensure him that “this chick is a keeper” after she addressed Meek’s probation status with the former president.
“He texted dude after the meeting and said, ‘Yo, this chick is a keeper.’ I saw the text myself with my own eyes, ‘This chick is a keeper. She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation,'” she dished to Joe.
However, upon the release of Ross’ Rather You Than Me album, Nicki was shocked to hear lyrics that were quite contradictory to his previous praises. “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki. Instead of beefin’ with your dog, you just give ’em some distance” Rick rapped on “Apple of My Eye.”
