New LA residents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and are giving back in a major way! When they heard local non-profit Project Angel Food—a program that delivers meals to sick people—was running out of drivers, they suited up in protective gear and volunteered their Black SUV for the mission.
“The couple is grateful for all of those volunteers, and inspired by the frontline workers, essential workers, and people everywhere who are committed to responding to the needs of their communities in this crisis,” a source close to Prince Harry and Meghan told Harper’s Bazaar.
The royal couple reportedly reached out to the non-profit’s Executive Director, Richard Ayoub, to find out how they could help.
“They wanted to help us relieve some of the drivers from their workload,” said Ayoub. “So they made deliveries in West Hollywood today. It’s really, really amazing. We loved having them and they are the most down-to-earth people,” he dished about the royal couple’s charitable deed.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles last month but have been social distancing due to the coronavirus outbreak.
