It looks like Tiger King’s Joseph Maldonado-Passage a.k.a. Joe Exotic wants the cat out of the…..prison! In a heartfelt handwritten letter obtained by Entertainment Weekly, a currently incarcerated Joe Exotic asked Kim Kardashian for her help in getting a pardon from President Donald Trump. Joe—who was convicted of hiring a hitman to take out his arch-nemesis, Carole Baskin—is still claiming his innocence and wants to be reunited with his family.

“I know you have never met me and may never want to, however I do believe that you hold the values of our justice system dear to your heart,” Joe wrote. “I am writing you this letter not as Joe Exotic but as the person Joseph Maldonado-Passage, asking you to please help me by just taking 10 minutes out of your life and placing a call to President Trump to look at my 257 page pardon it’s all the evidence I’m innocent and ask him to sign my pardon so I can return home to [my husband] Dillon [Passage] and my father.”

Kim Kardashian, a reality TV star turned criminal reform activist, seems to be a huge fan of the Netflix series Tiger King as she and her family dressed up as the cast for Halloween.
