TV broadcasting titan Barbara Walters has passed away at 93. A representative told People Magazine that the pioneering journalist died “peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.”
As the first female news anchor, her career spanning over 60 years includes her time as the host on the Today Show, 20/20, and The View, and more.
Oprah Winfrey, former The View co-host Meghan McCain, Yvette Nicole Brown, Don Lemon, and more pay tribute to the fallen TV journalist.
Super sad news. I was honored to sit at the table with THE #BarbaraWalters on @TheView a couple of times. I still pinch myself. I learned a lot from her. ❤️ May she #RIP.
