Tom Cruise is not playing when it comes to COVID-19 and social-distancing guidelines! The Mission: Impossible 7 star reportedly had a Jerry Maguire moment on the set, giving the crew a verbal lashing for not following the social distancing guidelines, per The Sun. Two crew members were allegedly standing less than 6ft apart, which ultimately sent Cruise over the edge. The British Tabloid obtained exclusive audio from the meltdown.
“I don’t ever want to see it again, ever! And if you don’t do it you’re fired, if I see you do it again you’re f**king gone. And if anyone in this crew does it — that’s it, and you too and you too,” Tom said.
After experiencing some delays due to the pandemic, the film has finally resumed production. It makes sense for Cruise to be concerned with social distancing violations since he reportedly dished out $676k of his own money so cast and crew can isolate to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on set, CNN reports.
“We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us! Because they believe in us and what we’re doing. We are creating thousands of jobs you m*therf**kers. I don’t ever want to see it again!”
