Congratulations are in order for former Bachelor star, Colton Underwood!

In less than a year of coming out as gay, Colton, 30, and his political strategist beau Jordan C. Brown, 39, are engaged! The couple, who bought a $3.2 million home at the top of the year, shared the good news with People after their Big Sur getaway that turned into an engagement.

“I’m extremely happy! 2021 was the most transformative year of my life,” Colton shared. “Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible.”

Colton, best known for being a virgin on The Bachelor franchise, came out in an exclusive interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts in April 2021. Underwood said 2020 gave him an opportunity to “come to terms” with the truth he’s known since he was six years old, and that living in his truth brought him closer to God.
