Russell Simmons’ daughters celebrated Father’s Day weekend by gifting the icon some serious shade.

Their family drama was unveiled when Russell’s daughter Ming Lee posted a Father’s Day tribute to her mother, Kimora Lee Simmons instead of her dad Russell, which had him in his feelings so much that he posted a meme that said, “stop asking fathers why they never saw their kids and start asking mom why they couldn’t.”

So Kimora hopped on the Gram to set the record straight and begged Russell to stop harassing her family. Then Russell’s daughter Aoki Lee hopped on the gram crying about how Russell mistreats his daughters and even posted a muted video of Russell yelling at her along with the text messages.

Russell then posted a photo of his daughters on social media with the caption “God is testing you a little bit, it’s ok, be strong. . . they are called growing pains . . .reach back to old lessons and remember to remember “smile and breathe”  deeply sorry for being frustrated and yelling.”
