No hair, don’t care!

In today’s edition of “What The Hair,” Jada Pinkett-Smith and her daredevil daughter, Willow Smith, revealed both bold and bald new looks on Instagram. In true rebel fashion, the Red Table Talk creator was pictured rocking a bald head, alongside her daughter, with the caption “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go.”

One of Coco Chanel’s famous quotes goes “a woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life”—which would be quite fitting as Jada approaches her 50th birthday. However, the bold buzz cut is probably more attributed to Jada’s hair loss issues that she opened up about on Red Table Talk in 2018.

“A lot of people have been asking why I’ve been wearing turbans,” Jada shared. “It was terrifying when it first started. I was in the shower one day and had just handfuls of hair in my hands and I was just like, ‘Oh my god, am I going bald?’ It was one of those times in my life where I was literally shaking in fear. That’s why I cut my hair, and why I continue to cut it,” she explained.
