Welp, can’t say we didn’t see this coming!
After months of speculation regarding Nia Long and Ime Udoka’s estranged relationship, the two have reportedly “officially” split after 13 years together, People reports. The breakup, confirmed by Nia’s camp, comes on the heels of Ime’s suspension as the Boston Celtics’ head coach for having an “inappropriate” relationship with a female staffer.
“The situation is unfortunate and painful, but Nia is focusing on her children and rebuilding her life,” the source told the outlet.
Despite officially splitting romantically, Nia and Ime “remain fully committed to co-parenting their son,” Nia’s rep shared. Once the news broke of Ime’s suspension back in September, he formally apologized to his family and the Celtics organization.
