Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, 57, will make his grand return to the ring to face-off against Jake Paul, 27, in Netflix’s livestream boxing event set for July 20th. The live event, which is a first-ever partnership between the streaming giant and Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is a once-in-a-lifetime dream matchup and I anticipate it will be the most-watched boxing event in modern boxing history,” Nakisha Bidarian said in a statement.

Despite Jake Paul only having 9 wins, 1 loss, and 6 knockouts under his belt while boxing legend Mike Tyson has 50 wins, 6 losses, and 44 K.O.s, he’s still looking forward to squaring off against the boxing icon.
“It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard,” Paul said. “Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons,” Jake Paul told Netflix.
Mike is also looking forward to stepping back into the ring after his 2020 exhibition against Roy Jones Jr.
“I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas,” Tyson said. “He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.
