We knew it wouldn’t be long before Thomas Markle entered the Royal drama chat! In a recent interview with Good Morning Britain, Meghan Markle’s father defended the British Royals despite Meghan and Prince Harry’s racism claims over baby Archie’s skin color.

Reducing the Royals’ reported concern about Archie’s skin color to “just a dumb question,” Thomas also accused Prince Harry of making a “snotty” call to him when he was recovering from the heart procedure that reportedly kept him from attending the Royal wedding. Adding icing to the cake, Meghan’s Dad threw a bit more shade to Prince Harry who was photographed wearing a Nazi costume back in 2005.
“Harry had said to me, ‘If you had listened to me, this wouldn’t have happened to you,’” Thomas said—adding “Me, laying in a hospital bed after having a procedure, I had a stent put here and put here and that was kind of snotty so I hung up on him.” Thomas continued with, “We all make mistakes … but I’ve never played naked pool and I’ve never dressed up like Hitler.”
However, Thomas did show remorse for his staging paparazzi photos scandal just before the Royal wedding.
“I wish I hadn’t done the whole thing. But here’s the other side of the coin. No one took any time to protect any member of our family,” Thomas said. “And in spite of all that, I still apologized, I’m apologizing today again.”
During Sunday’s sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed racism towards Meghan and her now-first born child, mental health struggles, and lack of physical and financial security as reasons why they “stepped back” from The Royal Family and relocated to the U.S.
