It looks like North West is walkin’ in her father’s footsteps but steppin’ on some toes along the way! Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s 6-year-old daughter rapped over 4-year-old Instagram child star Zaza’s song “What I do” at the Yeezy Season 8 Fashion Show, but not everyone was happy about the West family not giving appropriate credit.

In response to North’s performance, Zaza’s mother captioned a video post that urged people to “love and support” both children, but also give credit where it’s due.

Kim Kardashian apologetically commented on the post, explaining that North’s remix of Zaza’s song was impromptu and the lack of credit was not unintentional. She added that “North is a huge fan” and “is inspired by Zaza,” and would like for “the girls to meet soon.”
