Kanye West is back!
Mr. Yeezy confirmed that his new album Donda, which is named after his late mother, will drop this Friday. In true Kanye fashion, the announcement was nowhere near subtle. Instead, the “Jesus is King” rapper served up a little of his Sunday Service in the Beats by Dre commercial that played during Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

The ad features none other than superstar track runner Sha’Carri Richardson who was recently suspended from the upcoming Summer Olympics for testing positive for marijuana. Richardson runs 100 meters in slow-mo for the ultimate theatric effect while Kanye’s “No Child Left Behind” song from Donda plays in the background. The text in the ad reads “Donda drops this Friday,” confirming its release date, while also announcing that his album listening party that will take place this Thursday at the Mercedes Benz Stadium and will be live-streamed for the masses on Apple Music.
In addition to his album release date, Mr. West also made his grand return to Instagram with three powerful posts—one where Kanye is blinged out with chains that have his kids’ names on them, his Beats by Dre ad with Sha’Carri, and a photo of him standing in the center of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium where he’ll have his listening party.
