Not Chris Rock trying to “Set It Off” with Jada Pinkett-Smith when he thought she and Will Smith were divorcing!

During a recent interview with People Magazine and ahead of her Worthy book launch, Jada not only revealed she and Will have been separated for 7 years, but she also said Chris once asked her out amid divorce rumors. She told the outlet, “Chris, he thought we were getting a divorce” and he called her and said, “I’d love to take you out.” She said she told him the divorce rumors weren’t true and he apologized.

‘I think every summer all the reports would come out that me and Will were getting a divorce. And this particular summer, Chris, he thought that we were getting a divorce,” she told the outlet. ‘He was appalled. And he profusely apologized and that was that.’
