Mariah Carey is back with more tea and this time it’s about her former billionaire boo, James Packer. When The Guardian’s Hadley Freeman asked why her 18-month relationship with Packer didn’t make the cut in her memoir The Meaning of Mariah, the R&B songstress revealed the two were never “physical” and she only included relationships that “mattered” to her.
Ouch!
‘If it was a relationship that mattered, it’s in the book. If not, it didn’t occur… We didn’t have a physical relationship, to be honest with you,’ Mariah explained.
Mariah and James, who were introduced by Hollywood heavyweight Brett Ratner in 2014, made their public debut as a couple in 2015—just a few months before James popped the question. Unfortunately, the two called it quits in October 2016, after which Mariah received a “multimillion-dollar settlement” from Packer as an “inconvenience fee” for relocation costs and broken promises, ET Online reported.
The lovers who made the cut in Mariah’s memoir are Tommy Mottola, her estranged ex-husband and the first man she admits to being intimate with, her second lover, ex-boyfriend Derek Jeter, and of course her second husband and father of her children, Nick Cannon. She even mentioned Eminem’s mishap and why the two came short of making love.
