Rita Wilson and her husband Tom Hanks were one of the first celebrities to announce they contracted COVID-19. However, Rita decided to spend her quarantine practicing her ‘Rona Raps’ to Naughty By Nature’s “Hip Hop Hooray,” and the rest is hip-hop history!

Wilson thought she’d catch backlash for posting the video, but quite the opposite happened. In fact, Vin Rock, one-third of Naughty By Nature, was thoroughly impressed. “I went to the page and I saw Rita just spitting the lyrics, and she was killing it!” Rock dished. Wilson would later reach out to Rock to collaborate on a remix, where all proceeds will go towards the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund.
