Vogue Magazine joins the long list of people who have beef with “Her Loss” rappers Drake and 21 Savage!
After Drake shared a fake Vogue Magazine cover on October 30th in a now-deleted Instagram post captioned, “Me and my brother on newsstands tomorrow!! Thanks @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and support on this historic moment. Her Loss Nov 4th,” Vogue and Conde Nast are suing Drake and 21 Savage for $4 million in damages, per court docs obtained by E! News.
Vogue’s lawyers claim the unauthorized “widespread promotional campaign” of the counterfeit cover misleads readers into believing the rap duo will be featured in their December issue, which is not the case. However, the fake Vogue cover is on brand with Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss marketing strategy, which also included a fake Howard Stern interview and a fake SNL performance that was introduced by Michael B. Jordan.
#DishFam, is Vogue doing too much, or should Drake and 21 pay up? Tune in to see what our Dish Nation hosts think about this counterfeit chaos!
