After having the entire internet on the edge of their seats, Tessica Brown—most recently known as Gorilla Glue Girl—is finally glueless!
Tessica, who went viral for using Gorilla Glue to keep her hair in place, was offered a $12,500 surgical treatment by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng to break down the glue. After cutting off her ponytail prior to the procedure, Dr. Obeng reportedly used a mixture of medical-grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and acetone to break down the polyurethane and free her tresses!
Given a light anesthetic before the procedure, Tessica got choked up when she fully awakened and realized she could run her fingers through her hair again. To let her scalp breathe is surely a sigh of relief after her hair was glued in place for over 30 days. Tessica posted the viral video a week ago and received support from celebrities such as Chance The Rapper and many more. She’s also raised over $20,000 in a GoFundme account, but it’s unclear what she intends to do with the money.
I’m glad mfs actually supporting her thru this. When I watched the video the second time it was hard to laugh cause I could tell shorty genuinely didn’t know she had put one of the worlds most powerful adhesives in her shit. I hope she recovers well 🙏🏾 #gorillagluegirl
