There has been an outcry on social media after former Glee actress Naya Rivera, 33, was confirmed as missing at Lake Piru in Ventura County after her four-year-old son was found adrift on a boat. Naya reportedly rented the pontoon boat for her and her son but just 3 hours after she left the dock, a passer-by discovered her son asleep on the boat. Her son, who was wearing a life vest, said the two went swimming but his mom never got back on board. An adult life vest was found inside the boat. Authorities launched search efforts yesterday and resumed early today. As she’s presumed to have drowned, their search has reportedly shifted from rescue to a recovery mission.
Since this devastating news broke overnight, celebrities have been sharing their concerns and praying for her safe return, including her Glee co-stars, Harry Shum Jr. and Dot Marie Jones, and her The Royal Family co-star, Jackée Harry.
