‘Empire’ Star Terrence Howard Explains Why He’s Suing CAA for $120M, Says They Were Incentivized to Pay Him Less
Monday, Apr 8, 2024
CAA better have Lucious Lyon’s money.
During an interview on Straight Talk Phanee, Empire star Terrence Howard explained why he’s suing the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for $120 million. Howard said the agency was allegedly incentivized to pay him considerably less than his white counterparts, specifically, some of the agency’s Big Bang Theory clients.
While some of the Big Bang Theory cast, whose cast is majority white, were allegedly making upwards to $3 million per episode with “no name recognition” and half the views, Terrence said he was only making $325k per episode. When he asked about the pay disparity, Terrence said CAA sent him a check for $666. Ouch.
