Elon Musk wants to get you inside of his self-driving cars, out to the edge of space, and now, all up in your head!
Elon’s controversial tech startup, Neuralink, is one step closer to developing “ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces” that connect the human mind to their favorite devices. In other words, Elon and his techies want to implant a chip, which he refers to as “a Fitbit for your brain,” into the brains of people with neural disorders such as Alzheimer’s, paraplegia, and more, so their brains can wirelessly transmit and receive information from devices.
In efforts to hit the ground running—maybe even wirelessly perhaps—Neuralink is scouting for their first Clinical Trial Director who will “work closely with some of the most innovative doctors and top engineers, as well as working with Neuralink’s first Clinical Trial participants,” per the job description.
Do you think Neuralink’s technology will make a positive impact on human life or will be a dangerous invasion of privacy? Tune in to see what our Dish Nation hosts think.
