Jeannie Mai shared a shocking revelation about her divorce from Jeezy.

While on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Jeannie revealed she found out her marriage to Jeezy was ending in divorce at the same time as “the rest of the world,” which left her feeling “gutted.” Taking it day-by-day and focusing on their daughter she shares with Jeezy, Jeannie said she’s doing better now and has met “the most broken” and “strongest” versions of herself through it all.

However, sources close to the couple exclusively told TMZ that Jeannie wasn’t blindsided at all, as they tried multiple marriage counselors and could not resolve their issues.

Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie back in September, citing the marriage as “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.” ⁠Last week, Jeezy reportedly filed a divorce petition requesting defined custody rights because Jeannie is allegedly “gatekeeping” their 23-month-old daughter, per court docs obtained by People. In response, Jeannie fired back with an explosive petition of her own implying Jeezy cheated on her and should have to pay up per their prenup. ⁠
