The divorce drama between Dr. Dre and his estranged soon-to-be ex-wife Nicole Young is heating up! In a new legal filing, Young—who’s also a lawyer—claimed she was “forced” to sign a prenup back in 1996, but it was later torn up by a shameful Andre Young aka Dr. Dre just two years into the marriage, rendering it null and void.
“I was extremely reluctant, resistant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner,” Young testified. “Andre acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me,” Young continued. “Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement and that it was null and void.”
Dr. Dre and Nicole Young wed in 1996, have been married for 24 years and have two adult kids together. Young’s initial divorce filing stated irreconcilable differences as her reason for splitting from the hip-hop mogul.
Do you agree with Nicole that the torn-up prenup is now null and void?
