The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame reveals their rockin’ roster for 2022!
Instead of the normal 15 contenders, this year’s noms are comin’ in hot with 17 acts eligible for induction. The seven first-year noms include legends such as 8-Mile star and Detroit rapper, Eminem, new wave group Duran Duran, singer and songwriter Carly Simon, Commodores’ funk star Lionel Richie, country music icon Dolly Parton, hip-hop pioneers group A Tribe Called Quest, and indie-rock star, Beck.

Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, rock singer-songwriter Pat Benatar, and our favorite Twitter auntie and Queen of Soul, Dionne Warwick, will get another shot at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with two-timed nominees, New York Dolls, Devo, Judas Priest, Kate Bush, and Eurythmics. Rage Against the Machine will return for their fifth nom while protopunk band MC5 is back for their sixth.
You can cast your vote for your fave artist on vote.rockhall.com/up until April 29th. The final list of inductees will be announced in May 2022 with the official induction ceremony in the fall.
