The plot thickens when it comes to Nia Long’s fiancé Ime Udoka and his alleged mistress, and new details are out of bounds!
Last week, news broke that Nia’s long-term fiancé and Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka was suspended for the 2022-2023 season for having an inappropriate “intimate relationship” with one of the female franchise staffers. Well, new tea has spilled about the alleged mistress organizing travel for Nia to attend away games, and even her relocation to Boston just a couple of weeks ago!
Nia broke her silence to People over the weekend and thanked everyone for the “outpouring of love and support” she’s received since the scandal surfaced.
“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” Long told the outlet. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”
Just a couple of days prior, Udoka gave his official statement to ESPN’s Malika Andrews following the news of the immediate suspension as head coach.
“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” he said. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment,” he told the outlet.
