You know you’re that b**** when you cause all that damn inflation!
According to Danske Bank’s chief economist Michael Grahn, Sweden’s economic statistics showed a 9.7% inflation in May during Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour, which hosted two sold-out shows in Stockholm, CNN reported. As expected, the demand for hotels, restaurants, and more, which they reportedly have a limited number of, surged and caused inflation.
However, other sources reveal Sweden was already suffering from high inflation, months before Beyoncé’s tour was held there—noting inflation actually eased down from the previous month of 10.5% down to 9.7% in May, Forbes reports.
