Not Debra Messing getting messy about Kim Kardashian hosting Saturday Night Live!
After SNL announced their 47th season will kick off on October 2nd with Kim hosting on October 9th, the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star shared her excitement on Twitter, but not everyone is a fan of SNL’s casting choice for hosts.

Will & Grace star Debra Messing wasted no time taking to Twitter to dish her disappointment with SNL’s talent-less casting. “Why Kim Kardashian? I mean, I know she is a cultural icon, but SNL has hosts, generally, who are performers who are there to promote a film, TV show, or album launch,” Debra fired off in a tweet—adding “Am I missing something?”

Although “there’s no turning back now,” as Kim K jokingly stated, she’ll have pretty big shoes to fill as Owen Wilson kicks off the SNL premiere a week before she’s slated to host, with Rami Malek and Jason Sudeikis following suit on October 16th and 23rd, respectively.
