Cardi B is the latest to join in on the conversation about Atlanta restaurants.
The discourse about restaurants in the ATL, their notoriously subpar customer service, questionable rules, and preferential treatment of celebrities and influencers, started after restaurant critic and TikToker Keith Lee shared his raw and real-time reviews. Cardi resonated with Keith’s assessment and claims she has to name-drop just to get adequate service.
“I feel like Atlanta restaurants, they don’t like to make money,” Cardi said on IG Live. “I feel like they don’t like people, they don’t like they customers, they just don’t f****** like it. You could barely order in Atlanta restaurants.” She added, “It gets to the point that I have to tell people that order food for me, ‘Can you just name-drop my name?”

The latest establishment under fire after Keith’s review is Old Lady Gang, owned by RHOA star Kandi Burruss. Keith said he sent his family inside the restaurant first, but they were told OLG doesn’t accept take-out orders and there was an hour wait for a table to dine in. However, when Keith walked in, the OLG hosts said his table would be ready in 5 minutes.

After Keith declined the offer to dine in and expressed his frustrations with OLG in his review, Kandi responded by appreciating him for dropping in and explaining that since weekends are busy with locals and tourists, they don’t offer to-go orders.

The Real Milk and Honey, Atlanta Breakfast Club, and Toast on Lenox were among the restaurants that had less than raving reviews by Keith. However, he did praise Juci Jerk, Jamaican Jerk Biz, and Bodega, for having outstanding food and customer service.
