‘Are You Kidding Me?’ Kentucky A.G. Daniel Cameron Is Dragged For His Black History Month Tweet After The Way He Handled Breonna Taylor’s Case
Tuesday, Feb 2, 2021
FRANKFORT, KY – SEPTEMBER 23: Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron speaks during a press conference to announce a grand jury’s decision to indict one of three Louisville Metro Police Department officers involved in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor on September 23, 2020 in Frankfort, Kentucky. Former Louisville Metro Police Officer Brett Hankison has been charged with wanton endangerment for shooting into neighboring apartments during the execution of a fatal raid on Taylor’s apartment on March 13, 2020. Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron got dragged for filth for tweeting about Black History Month after the way he handled the murder of Breonna Taylorā€”the 26-year-old essential worker who was killed by police in her home during a botched drug raid. Social media could not believe A.G. Cameron’s capacity for his audacity, and slammed him for hypocrisy.

Rihanna retweeted Cameron’s tweet and demanded #JusticeforBreonnaTaylor, Porsha Williams shared a simple question on Instagram, “Are you kidding me?” while Yvette Nicole Brown questioned the “unmitigated ashy gall of this clown.”

During a press conference held in September 2020, A.G. Daniel Cameron said Brett Hankisonā€”one of three officers involved in Breonna’s caseā€”had been charged with three counts of wanton endangerment. Despite Jonathan MattinglyĀ andĀ Myles Cosgrove’s involvement, Cameron said the two officers ā€œwere justified in their use of forceā€ since Breonna Taylorā€™s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, fired firstā€”although FBI ballistics analysis revealed Cosgrove as the officer who fired the fatal shot.

What do you think of Daniel Cameron getting backlash for his Black History Month tweet? Tune in to see what our Dish Nation hosts think.
