Last night’s American Music Awards hosted by Taraji P. Henson did not disappoint! Despite a small scattered mask-wearing audience, the energy was nothing short of high-vibe and the performances were electric. Here are the best moments from last night’s AMAs.
Megan Thee Stallion brought the “Good News” with a world premiere of her sizzlin’ single, Body. Megan put body positivity on center stage with some empowering words to kick of her powerful performance.
“My body is mine, and nobody owns it but me. And who I choose to let in is so lucky. You may not think my body is perfect, and it probably never will be. But when I look in the mirror, I love what I see.”

After being crowned Artist of the Year, Taylor Swift updated fans on her battle with Scooter Braun who recently sold the Masters to her first six albums. During her virtual acceptance speech, she shared that she’s going back to where it all started.
“The reason I’m not there tonight is I’m actually rerecording all of my old music, in the studio where we originally recorded it,” Swift said. “So it’s been amazing. I can’t wait for you to hear it.”
The Weeknd, fully committed to his bloodied theme for his most recent album After Hours, rocked face bandages with visibly bruised eyes. The SuperBowl headliner hit the stage with legendary saxophonist Kenny G, and dedicated his favorite soul R&B album award to the late Prince.
