Singer August Alsina spilled some red table-worthy tea during an interview with Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee with claims that he had a years-long affair with Jada Pinkett-Smith. Alsina, 27, who was introduced to Jada by her son, Jaden Smith, said that not only was he romantically involved and basically living with the Red Table Talk creator, but that Will Smith gave him the blessing to proceed with their relationship.
“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times. And it, you know, it not involving romanticism. He gave me his blessing,” an emotional August said. “I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her.”
He went to speak about his bond with the entire family with whom he vacationed with back in 2016. “I love those people literally like my family. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. They are beautiful people,” August said. However, despite August honoring his “authenticity” and speaking his truth, Jada’s reps say that his claims are “absolutely not true,” Page Six reports.
It’s rumored that August Alsina’s “Nunya” track referenced his rumored relationship with Jada. He also just dropped a new album The Product III:StateofEMERGEncy and YouTube documentary StateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina.
What do you think of August’s explosive claims?
