An investigation is underway for a shooting that took place near Drake’s Bridle Path mansion in Toronto around 2:10 a.m Tuesday morning, per multiple reports.

An unidentified man, initially thought to be a security guard based on the emergency call, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and as a result, underwent surgery. According to the police source, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and has not been apprehended. Drake’s rep has confirmed the rapper was not injured.

The shooting comes amid Drake’s ongoing rap beef with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar, both of whom traded several diss tracks over the weekend. However, there have been no reports indicating the shooting is connected.
