The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air joined stand-up heavyweights Katt Williams, Jon Stewart, Michael Che and Michelle Wolf during Dave Chappelle’s “Comedy Fight Club”-style show this Wednesday in L.A. Although no topic was off the table, including the #MeToo movement, gun control and gender equality, Will Smith kept it light with comical stories on family life and his poppin’ social media popularity. He joked about his son Jaden Smith treating him like “he’s the second-best rapper in the house,” and a garage-takeover by his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’sRed Table Talk show.
A source told E! Online that Will “laid it down,” praising him as “a natural storyteller” that had everyone laughing—including Jada and Willow who were in attendance. After freestyling a few verses during the show’s finale, Dave Chappelle donned Will the “new sheriff in town,” Variety reports. Can we expect to see more stand-up comedy from Will Smith? We sure hope so! Tune in as we dish on his stand-up debut, and why Headkrack thinks Porsha should keep her day job!
