In what will surely go down as the most controversial moment in pop culture, Will slapped Chris on stage at the Oscars for making a G.I. Jane joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, who suffers from a medical condition, alopecia.

Shortly after the slap heard around the world, Will accepted his Best Actor award for King Richard and gave a tearful speech about protecting his family. At first, The Fresh Prince seemingly made light of the confrontation with Chris by posting a playful Instagram video with Jada that was captioned, “Me ‘n @jadapinkettsmith got all dressed up to choose chaos.”
However, Will later apologized for slapping Chris, calling his behavior at the Oscars “unacceptable and inexcusable.”
Chris spoke out about the incident during the Boston stop of his comedy tour but said he’s “still processing” what happened.

Do you think Will keeping his award but being banned from The Oscars for 10 years is an appropriate punishment?
