The year 2020 has been full of surprises, but who saw a Will Smith and Janet Hubert reunion coming? Not us!

Janet aka ‘the original Aunt Viv’—who’s been very vocal about her exit from the Fresh Prince and her rift with Will—was captured sitting next to him in a seemingly friendly behind-the-scenes photo for HBO Max’s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion special. Will reportedly told the cast that after 27 years of tension between the two, he and Janet had “an emotional reunion and a candid conversation” which was filmed separately, TV Line reports.

The Fresh Prince reunion special is slated to air around Thanksgiving and will include cast members Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv No. 2) and DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jazz). But everyone knows Fresh Prince isn’t complete without one of the best TV dads, James Avery, who unfortunately passed in 2013. Additionally, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air received a two-season order from Peacock for Bel-Air, a drama reboot from executive producer Morgan Cooper and Westbrook Studios.
