Wendy Williams is “deeply” apologetic over “out of touch” comments she made about gay men wearing skirts and heels. On yesterday’s The Wendy Williams Show, the media mogul slammed gay men for celebrating “Galentine’s Day”—an unofficial holiday where women celebrate women.
“I don’t care if you’re gay. You don’t get a menses every 28 days. You can do a lot that we do, but I get offended by the idea that we go through something you will never go through,” she told her audience. She also demanded that men “stop wearing our skirts and our heels.”
Wendy shared a special message to apologize for yesterday’s remarks.
”I didn’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings. I’m just having a conversation. If you know me long enough, then you know… I’m not out of touch, except for perhaps yesterday for saying what I said. So I deeply apologize… I will do better.”
