A recent study has proven that couples are actually having WAY less sex than they once did, and that by the year 2030 couples will be having basically no sex at all.
If you think that’s shocking, guess what’s to blame for these dry spells? “NETFLIX & CHILL!”
That’s right! According to Cambridge University statistician David Spiegelhalter, there is currently a very noticeable decline in sex rates, and he thinks that Netflix is to blame. Spiegelhalter revealed,
“People are having less sex. Sexually active couples between 16 and 64 were asked and the median was five times in the last month in 1990, then four times in 2000 and three times in 2010 … At this rate by 2030 couples are not going to be having any sex at all.”
But how could Netflix be to blame? Well, an individual’s sex drive has been proven to be directly related to how well you sleep at night. And with Netflix being notorious for releasing entire seasons of a series all at once, it is very common to find yourself in bed every night for weeks catching up on all the new episodes. Meaning, Netflix is more interesting to couple’s these days than getting down and dirty.
This is the world we live in, people.
So now we must ask, what does Netflix & Chill really mean to you?
