The Empire star detailed how their reconciliation all went down on Dish Nation on Thursday.
“There’s peace and I’m happy about that,” she told Gary, Porsha, Headkrackand Brat. “I guess we love hard and we fight even harder.”
The exes recently appeared in a sketch for the rapper’s comedy show 50 Central, which occurred after she confronted him about their ongoing war of words.
“I was thrilled when I got the call [to be on the show] because I don’t like beefing,” Fox said. “I ran into him at a Knicks game and I walked over to him and was like, ‘Yo, like for real?'”
The Kill Bill actress was motivated to nip their feud in the bud after 50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, had taken to ragging on Empire. Fox believes her directness in squashing the bad blood is what eventually led to their rekindled friendship.
And while they haven’t gotten romantic again, Fox reiterated her affection for the 42-year-old music mogul by adding:
“He is definitely the love of my life. I’ll never not deny that.”
The 53-year-old went further and disclosed how the “Candy Shop” singer still gives her butterflies because “we got some chemistry, always.”
Which prompted Gary with Da Tea to ask: “Does Curtis want that thang back?” And without skipping a beat, Fox responded, “if he does, he’s got to earn it!”
Jokes aside, she ended off on a touching note by saying: “He’ll always have a special place in my heart.”
You’re move 50!
Fox is currently starring in the stage adaptation of her hit film Two Can Play the Game, which is currently touring the country and also features our very own Porsha Williams.
