After allegations of cheating and multiple lawsuits claiming he gave people herpes, Usher and his wife Grace Miguel have announced their separation.
“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” Usher and Grace said in a joint statement to Us Weekly. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
The pair, who have been married for two years, are said to have been separated for a few months.
Usher and Grace started dating shortly after the “Yeah” singer’s split from his first wife Tameka Foster in 2009.
After getting engaged in January 2015, the couple eloped eight months later in Cuba.

While their brief marriage didn’t spawn any children, both Usher and Grace have two children each from previous relationships.
The demise of their marriage comes after months of brushing off rumors of marital strife stemming from multiple lawsuits alleging Usher knowingly exposed several women and men to herpes.
Usher has denied all the allegations.
