Maralee Nichols is trying to put “Trimester Titan” Tristan Thompson’s coins in a chokehold!
Maralee, who shares a three-month-old son Theo with the Chicago Bulls star, is demanding over $47,000 a month in child support and $1 million to cover legal fees for the paternity suit that confirmed Tristan as the father. According to US Weekly, Nichols filed paperwork in Los Angeles yesterday.
“With regard to child support, using Tristan’s income of $9.7 million alone and Maralee’s income of $0, Maralee at this time requests guideline monthly child support of $47,424,” the docs read.
Maralee reported her monthly expenses as $22,263 compared to Tristan’s monthly income of $810,075—noting she and their son are “living at a far depressed standard of living than Tristan,” The Sun reported. Additionally, Nichols expects to maintain her monthly dining expenses of $2000 once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Nichols also said she’s put forth “a tremendous effort” to stop spending so much money on clothes, reducing her monthly budget from $5,000 a month to $3,500.
The filing also includes Tristan’s arrangement with his first baby mama, Jordan Craig, who reportedly lives in a $3 million mansion, drives a luxury car, dresses her child in designer clothing, and receives $40,000 a month in child support which aligns more with Tristan’s “lavish celebrity lifestyle” in comparison to Nichols who lives in an apartment with her baby and a roommate.
Earlier this year, Tristan came clean about being the father of personal trainer Maralee’s baby and apologized to Khloe Kardashian.
