TRIBUTES FOR PRINCE, NIPSEY HUSSLE & KOBE BRYANT TAKE CENTER STAGE AT 2020 GRAMMYS
Monday, Jan 27, 2020

Last night was certainly a celebration of music with epic wins from Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Lil Nas X, but with the sudden news of NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s passing yesterday, tributes in memoriam to the fallen star and those we’ve lost in the past quickly and rightfully took center stage.

Below are some of those heart-touching moments.

After Lizzo’s fiery performance that she dedicated to Kobe, the awards show’s host, Alicia Keys, was joined on stage by Boyz II Men for a heartfelt rendition of “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye.” He would later be memorialized during DJ Khaled’s “Higher” performance and tribute to slain rapper and Grammy-award winning artist, Nipsey Hussle.

Prince Tribute

Usher, FKA Twigs and Sheila E collaborated for a show-topping performance of Prince’s hottest hits which included “Little Red Corvette,” “When Doves Cry,” and “Kiss.”

What did you think of last night’s tributes? See below for the full list of winners and find out what our Dish Nation hosts thought!
