Tory Lanez is still fighting for his friendship with Megan Thee Stallion despite allegations that he shot her in the feet back in July. The Daystar rapper went on Instagram Live to defend his innocence regarding the shooting “debacle”, and although he didn’t specifically deny shooting her he said the allegations are not true.

‘She knows what happened, I know what happened. And we know that what you’re saying and what the alleged things and the alleged accusations of my name is, are not true. It’s falsified information,’ Tory said.

After implying that Megan Thee Stallion is lying about the events of that night, Tory reaffirmed that she’s still his friend.

I don’t ever want to come off like I’m here to bash this girl or I’m here to talk down about this girl, or ever be at a place where like, I’m disrespecting her because to me as a person, she’s still my friend.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like their friendship is on the mend as Megan seemingly responded to Tory’s claims with a simple tweet.

Tory was charged with the shooting earlier this month and he’s facing one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded, concealed firearm in a vehicle, per the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
