We might be social distancing, but that doesn’t mean we’re not social listening! Global Citizen launched an “At Home Together” live-music series where artists give in-home concerts for everyone in isolation. In addition to providing live entertainment, Global Citizen launched the series as a call-to-action for more funding to support World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
So far, the virtual lineup has included Coldplay’s front man, Chris Martin, and John Legend, who gave their Instagram Live concerts on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

Other stars have followed suit like Katherine McPhee, Pink, even cellist Yo-Yo Ma who dedicated a “songs of comfort” to healthcare workers amidst this pandemic.
This is for the healthcare workers on the frontlines — the Sarabande from Bach’s Cello Suite No. 3. Your ability to balance human connection and scientific truth in service of us all gives me hope. #songsofcomfort pic.twitter.com/s9e35RW03N
