Tiger King star and former Dancing With The Stars contestant Carole Baskin loves her “cool cats and kittens”, in more ways than one! The Big Cat Rescue CEO exclusively told PinkNews that she’s bisexual and her love for the LGBTQ+ community dates all the way back to the ’80s.

“I was engaged to a psychologist, and that was his entire field, dealing with the LGBT+ community,” she shared. “But it was during the ’80s that I discovered that through dealing with the LGBT+ community that I realized I had just as equal feelings for women as I did for men.”

As Carole didn’t grow up like many other girls, e.g., aspiring to be a mother, playing with dolls, etc., she shared that something always felt “off” about her—referring to herself as “such a tomboy” who was “probably born into the wrong body.”

“I was always very male-oriented in the things I did,” she added. “I never had any mothering instincts or anything, you know, I never played with dolls. And so I always thought that there was something off there, that I couldn’t quite put my finger on.
