“Nah, I’m good!”
Common had a thing for Tiffany Haddish long before the “She Ready” comedian was actually ready to date him! On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Tiffany said she shot down Common’s advances several times before they finally got together.
“He was trying to holler, and I was like, ‘No, I’m not really interested. Nah, I’m good. My eyes are set on other things. I’m interested in somebody else, I’m sorry. But you seem like a nice person,'” Tiffany told Colbert—adding that “I know too many people that dated you, let’s be honest.”
Common has been romantically linked to Erykah Badu, Serena Williams, Taraji P. Henson, and Angela Rye—whom he dated just before making things official with Tiffany.
Tiffany confirmed her rumored relationship with Common on Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast back in August 2020—describing it as “hands down the best relationship” she’s ever been in. The lovebirds have been quarantining together during the pandemic and even did a steamy silhouette challenge “for the lovers” on Instagram.
