Was ‘The Blind Side’ a lie?

Michael Oher, depicted in the 2009 film ‘The Blind Side,’ is suing his adoptive parents, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, for swindling him into a shady conservatorship and making business deals in his name, such as the movie, which paid out millions of dollars in royalties.

The Tuohys responded via their attorney, saying Michael’s claims are “not only offensive,” but “transparently ridiculous.” They also said Michael attempted a “shakedown” for eight figures despite depositing Oher’s “equal share into a trust account they [The Tuohys] set up” for him.
