THE 5 MUST-SEE SUPER BOWL MOMENTS

Whether you came for the actual game, the commercials or to watch Justin Timberlake and Pink sing, this year’s Super Bowl did not disappoint.

The Philadelphia Eagles wound up winning the NFL Championship Game for the first time ever in a nail-biting 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots, but in between the start and finish there were some standout moments on and off the field.

Here are the five things you need to see regarding the 2018 Super Bowl .

PINK SINGS THE NATIONAL ANTHEM

Pink wasn’t going to let a little thing like the flu stop her from belting out “The Star Spangled Banner.” After removing a throat lozenge from her mouth, the 38-year-old nailed the performance and did her best to emulate her idol Whitney Houston.

ODELL BECKHAM JR. GOES ‘DIRTY DANCING’

No one puts Odell Beckham Jr. in the corner! Beckham and fellow NY Giants player Eli Manning did their best Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey impersonation as they recreated the classic move from the 1987 film Dirty Dancing. It’s safe to say they had the time of their lives filming this NFL ad.

DODGE RAM CO-OPTS MLK JR.

On the other end of the spectrum lies this Dodge Ram commercial that somehow thought using Martin Luther King Jr.‘s speech to sell a car was a good idea. #smh

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’S HALFTIME SHOW

While there was no Janet Jackson appearance, Justin Timberlake’s halftime show did include a litany of dancers, an homage to late Minneapolis icon Prince, a viral Super Bowl selfie, 11 hit songs and one extremely ugly suit. Enjoy!

ZACH ERTZ’s TOUCHDOWN CATCH

Eagles tight end Zach Ertz caught a pass, dove into the end zone, nearly lost the ball after it bounced out of his hands, then quickly recovered it to score a touchdown with less than three minutes left in the game.  Amazing!
