Steph Curry‘s wife, Ayesha Curry, got herself into a bit of a heated situation on Twitter yesterday.
The NBA Wife published a series of tweets referring to the fact that she doesn’t like to dress provocatively, saying she will take “classy over trashy any day” with the latest fashion trends. She also added to the list of tweets with this one.
Everyone’s into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters 😂😂😂
Of course some women were rather upset at Curry’s tweets, arguing that women should be able to dress however they want without the concern or speculation of others. However, she took to her Twitter again to clear up the chaos.
Regardless of if you like my “style of clothes” or not (which I don’t care) please do not tear women down and degrade them… Not cool peeps — Ayesha Curry (@ayeshacurry) December 6, 2015
Now,her husband has come to her defense! Aww. During his most recent game, the Warriors player was asked by an interviewer about his opinions on his wife’s tweets and the negative response that came along with them. Turns out, Steph was actually surprised that people responded so harshly and that he “thought twitter was for expressing opinions.”
Hey, he has a good point! Either way, he did the right thing by defending his girl. After all, her tweets weren’t THAT bad. Right?
