Drake’s long-awaited sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, has dropped and the social media sleuths are busy decoding his lyrics for some Kanye West shade! Last week, TMZ reported that Kanye posted Drake’s Toronto address on Instagram in a since-deleted post, and in Drizzy fashion, Mr. Lover Boy seemingly addressed it on CLB’s “7 am On Bridle Path” track.
“You over there in denial, we not neck and neck, It’s been a lot of years since we seen you comin’ correct. Man, f*** a ‘Respectfully,’ I just want my respect. They tried to label me mean, I say what I mean. People that could’ve stayed on the team, they played in between,” Drake raps.
Although Drake didn’t call out anyone by name—except for maybe Kanye’s social media influencer homeboy and Respectfully TV Host, Justin LaBoy, who’s coined the term Respectfully online—avid fans are convinced that he’s addressing the address fiasco. Drake gets a little bit more off of his chest by seemingly telling Mr. West to “give that address to your driver, make it your destination” instead of “just a post out of desperation.”
“Give that address to your driver, make it your destination, Instead of just a post out of desperation. This me reachin’ the deepest state of my meditation. Why you over there tryna impress the nation? Minds runnin’ wild with the speculation,” raps Drake.

Drake’s sixth studio album CLB, which dropped less than a week after the release of Kanye’s Donda album, features big names such as Jay-Z, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Lil Durk, and many more who were also featured on Donda.
Do you think Drake took a shot back at Kanye for allegedly leaking his address?
